My lovely brother Derek,also my friend I couId always come to you if I needed help, I will always love you and I was so very proud of you and i will miss you so much. Always,caring,loving,and a real gentleman. If it wasn't for you I would still be living on my own a spinster but because of your caring ways, I met John,I had Johndy and now I have lovely Jack, because Derek you came home on leave and said "You are not staying in night after night " and you kindly took me to the Court School of dancing in Harrow and paid for me to have dancing lessons and I never looked back and so my life began ,so I thank you from the bottom of my heart. We had fun times growing up too.. I am so very glad I was able to visit you in October, I saw how very brave you were never complaining always acting with dignity and how amazing Margaret was in looking after you . I was so proud of your naval career and of the achievements you reached . Rest In Peace Derek, I will never forget you ,you will always be in my heart lots and lots of love Gwen (sister)xxxx❤❤❤
